1) General Provisions
1.1 Scope of Services
Tripyatra.com provides search, pricing, availability and booking for:
- Domestic & international hotels
- Tour packages (domestic & international)
- Activities & attractions
- Rental villas / houses / apartments
- Rental cars
Services are supplied by third-party Service Providers (hotels, tour operators, activity hosts, owners, car agencies). We act as an intermediary unless explicitly stated otherwise.
1.2 Agreement
These Terms form the Master User Agreement. Service-specific terms may apply at checkout. If there’s a conflict, these Terms prevail unless stated otherwise.
1.3 Eligibility
- 18+ years of age and legally competent.
- Provide accurate, complete details during booking.
1.4 Updates
We may modify Terms anytime by posting a revised version on the Platform. Continued use means acceptance.
2) Booking & Payment
2.1 Booking process
- Accuracy: You must enter correct traveler and payment data. We aren’t responsible for errors caused by incorrect inputs.
- Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after full/required payment and issuance of a confirmation email/receipt.
- ID at check-in: Passport/Driver’s License/Voter ID/Aadhaar required. PAN card is not valid for hotel check-in.
- Special requests: e.g., early check-in/extra bed/room type are subject to availability and provider policy—no guarantees.
2.2 Payments
- Methods: Card, UPI, net banking, or e-wallets (as available). Payments are to Tripyatra Tourism Private Limited (A/C Payee Only).
- Advance / Deposit:
- For all services (hotels, tours, activities, villas/rentals, cars), a minimum 10% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
- You may also choose to pay 100% in advance at the time of booking.
- Any remaining balance (if any) must be paid before service commencement or as specified by the service provider’s policy.
- Currency: INR unless specified.
- Taxes/fees: Displayed prices generally not include taxes; gala dinners (e.g., Christmas/New Year), local fees, tolls/parking may be extra, payable to the provider.
2.3 Pricing & offers
Prices may change based on provider rules. Promotions/e-cash follow their own terms and may be withdrawn without notice.
3) Cancellations & Refunds
3.1 How to cancel
Cancel from My Bookings or email support@tripyatra.com. “No-show” is non-refundable.
3.2 Category rules (high level)
- Hotels: Follow hotel policy shown at booking. Wallet refunds may reflect within 2–4 hrs; bank/card refunds typically 2–3 business days (private banks) and up to 7 days (public banks).
- Tour packages: Minimum 10% service charge applies to any cancellation. Unused components (hotels/transport) are refunded if recovered from providers.
- Activities/attractions: Usually non-refundable unless stated.
- Rental homes: Within 24 hours of check-in may be fully chargeable; follows owner policy.
- Rental cars: After reporting time: non-refundable. Within 24 hrs of reporting: may incur inconvenience charges.
3.3 Refunds
Refunds go to the original payment method; non-card payments may be refunded by Account Payee Cheque. Processing can take 15–20 working days depending on providers/banks.
3.4 Non-refundable items
Where marked non-refundable during booking (e.g., special rates/dated tickets), no refunds are issued even if cancelled.
4) User Responsibilities
- Follow all Service Provider policies (hotel rules, tour/vehicle agreements). Check-in may be denied to local residents or unverified couples per property policy without refund.
- You’re liable for damage to rented properties/vehicles; settle charges directly with the provider.
- Docs: For international trips, arrange valid visas, insurance, and travel documents. We aren’t liable for visa denials or related losses.
- Carry booking confirmations/e-tickets for activities/attractions as required.
- Health & safety: Ensure fitness for selected activities (e.g., treks/high altitude). Those with contagious illnesses must not join group activities.
Partners: Verified partners may request withdrawal of partner earnings from the partner wallet as per separate partner terms.
5) Tripyatra’s Role & Limitations
- We facilitate bookings between you and providers; quality, safety, and performance are the provider’s responsibility.
- Itineraries are indicative and may change due to weather/roads/operations; schedules can be adjusted for safety.
- We’re not liable for provider delays/cancellations/overbookings, force-majeure events, or personal/property/financial losses during trips.
- If you’re unreachable after booking and miss the service, related losses are not our liability.
- Information is compiled in good faith; errors in provider-supplied rates/availability/descriptions may occur.
6) Privacy & Data
Use of personal data follows our Privacy Policy. We may share necessary booking details with Service Providers to fulfill your reservation.
7) Intellectual Property
All site/app content (text, images, logos, code) is owned by Tripyatra Tourism Private Limited or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or exploit content without written permission.
8) Dispute Resolution
- Governing law: India.
- Jurisdiction: Courts at Rewari, Haryana, India (or your final city—update if different).
- Support channel: Email support@tripyatra.com. We aim to respond within 15 working days.
9) Miscellaneous
- Force majeure: We aren’t liable for events beyond control (disasters, strikes, regulations).
- Non-transferability: Bookings are non-transferable unless a provider allows it.
- Entire agreement: These Terms + service-specific terms supersede prior communications.
- In-app promotions: We may display our own promotional banners/videos. We do not serve third-party ad networks.
